Love was in the air at Buchan today! These two large red damselflies were getting it on and managed to break momentarily for a photo op. My presence today was predominantly for free labour rather than gentle nature rambles as the following picture will show.
We placed this rather lovely pedestrian gate with extra legs on one of the local public footpaths for improved access. Also managed to get the following additional shots at tea break...
Great pictures, looking forward to futher blogs. I recently saw what I thought was a blackbird but it had a white neck. On further investigation, it most probably was a blackbird as apparently albinism is common in blackbirds and they often have splashes of white in their feathers. Wish I'd had a camera with me! ReplyDeleteOh! The last photo is a Opiliones, but I could not determine the species, interesting!
