May bank holiday rambles
A gentle ramble at Arlington on Monday with a few treats. This large red damselfly, the demoiselle, and the speckled wood didn't mind me shoving my little camera as close as I could in Winham Coppice. Willbees wood also hosted a lonely looking early purple orchid (picture quality of my photo left much to be desired). Playing around with the macro setting did pay off a little however with these shots of some of the classics...

I would say its some sort of cockroach but then all of those type of bugs look the same to me!! Nets x
